Hi All,

We will be traveling with a three month old infant in August and have a room at POR. Ive stayed at ASMo,Mu and Sp before and have got a refrigerator in the room at an add'l cost. I know sometimes that if a refrigerator is medically necessary for medicine or whatever the fee is sometimes waived. Has anyone had any experience with a fee waived because of an infant and food formula storage? Just wondering. I mean, $70 ($10@7) is $70..
Just thought Id ask

Some have reported having the fridge complimentary for an infant but others were charged. I would budget the $$ just in case or consider getting a cooler. Our dd liked the powder so it was fine to mix on the fly without needing to warm it or keep the leftover cold. I don't think at 3 months there will be a need for baby food yet. This way if you are given the fridge for free its a "bonus" and not a "bummer".

In the past WDW has been pretty generous in not charging guests for a fridge due to medical reasons or infants but unfortunately many took advantage without need and they are cutting back.

My sil needed a fridge for medicine and they did give her one for free but it was about the size of shoebox. It was perfect for her meds but not a dorm fridge like most are expecting. This would probably do for formula though.
