Has anyone encountered this before? We will be making a grocery stop about noon using a town car. Our check-in is at 3:00, with any luck, maybe before. What can we do with our food (milk, eggs, meat, etc.) that needs to be kept cold in the interim? We are camping at FW. I'm planning on bringing soft , collapsable coolers, and plastic ready ice. We are flying. Any suggestions. This is for July.

Please help. Thank-you. Pauly

All the on-site Resorts I've been to (OKW, VWL, BW) have refrigerator/freezer storage available for Guests. Drop your grocery bags off with the bellhop and they will tag them for pick-up later.

I usually get a styrafoam cooler and ice during the grocery stop - since you will be bringing one you could just get ice. Then I take a minute before loading the stuff into the trunk and pack the cooler with the perishables. This way I don't have to worry if our room is ready or not. Our driver has always helped or at least waited patiently as we don't go over the 30 minutes anyway. (Most of them help!)

I have been told that the resorts will keep things in the fridge/freezer for you but since I get the cooler anyway I have never asked.

:) thanks for your posts. that's what i'll do. i'll use the coolers for the interim and for the water parks, and i'll ask at FW about their refrigeation lockers. thanks a bunch, pauly
