Refrig Reservation question

I noticed on my confirmation package that my TA put the following under our requests non-smoking and refrigerator due to medical neccesity. The non-smoking is the med necessity...dd has asthma. The refrig is not. I think it just accidently got put in that way.

I have been worried over this...because I don't want to cheat the system...even if it wasn't on purpose.

We have bought a Coleman electric cooler that we'll be using and don't need a fridge at all now. Do I need to call them in advance to cancel it or just tell them at check in? Will it be in the room already if I wait to tell them at check in? I don't want to make extra work for someone by making them have to haul it in and haul it out.

The fridge is usually something you have to request at check in. So, even though it is on your ressie doesn't mean it will be in your room when you get there. Usually they bring it to your room after you check in. A fridge for a medical neccesity will be smaller than a regular fridge they provide at the resort. My advice would be to just let them know at check in you don't have a need for any fridge. It will not be a problem. I wouldn't call and change it on your ressie because something might get messed up and you want the non smoking part to be there.
