Refrig question at Disneyland Hotel

Will the refrigerator in our room at the Disneyland Hotel have a freezer area and if yes, will it freeze a small bottle of water? Also, will the refreshment carts or snack places sell you a glass of plain ice? It sounds a little silly, but my niece is really fussy about her water being very, very, very cold or she won't drink it and we need to keep her hydrated!

My son takes a medication for a brain condition and it causes him to easily dehydrate and get into some nasty metabolic problems. You can try this suggestion, if you don't find that you can freeze her water bottle.

Basically, you can create a "mini ice chest." Buy one of the soft-side thermal lunch "boxes." (The kind with a shoulder strap and zipper, that are actually box-shaped. It can sit upright in something like a stroller basket or just be carried.) Take along a box of quart-sized zip-lok bags that you can fill with ice. Fill two or three quart-size zip-lock bags with ice from the ice machine at the hotel. Then, make some ice water in a drinking cup, then transfer it to a water bottle. Put the water bottle into the lunch box, and surround it with the bagged ice.
