Refridgerator at ASmo

Sorry if this has already been asked, but here goes. I'm assuming that you can get a fridge at the ASmo (upon request). My question is, do you have to request it before you get there, or do you do that when you check in? Also, how much is it per day? We didn't plan on getting one, but just took two of the kids to the dr's and both got put on an antibiotic that needs to be refridgerated. Should I call and add that request to my reservation, or wait?

$10 per day, plus tax. If you are driving, it would be cheaper to buy one and take it.

You can inquire about a fridge for medical reasons. Reports are that they waive the fee. It might be small though. Just big enough for the meds.

JMO- We had to take atb for our girls for one trip. we just put the bottles in a small rubbermaid container, to prevent them from being water logged, and laid it on top of the cooler. Worked fine.

This might be a too late of a suggestion, if you have already gotten your prescription filled, but sometimes the pharmacy will give the bottles of powder, along witht the sterile water for reconsitution. That way no fridge needed.

Good luck- And hey, at least they got sick before the trip. They will hopefully be in top form for the trip, with the sickies behind them.

I'd go ahead and call and atleast ask about policy (find out if they will give you one) but i'd bring a back up plan as well just incase they run out since requests are not guarenteed. I dont know how good of an idea this was but we wrapped ds's in something (dont remember what and put it on top of the ice in the ice bucket. probably got it colder than it was supposed to be. my kids alway end up on antibiotics when we go out of town. if nothing else seems like it will work, call the dr's office tell them you are going out of town and ask if they have samples that you could mix as you go.

Thank you. I did just call and they added to my reservation that I needed a fridge for medical reasons and they will waive the fee. One less thing to worry about
