Refreshing for TSL FP's Opening Day

Since I can't be there (wife says driving down from Canada for just the weekend is out of the question..boo) I've been watching FP availability yesterday and today. As expected, SDD and AS2 are difficult to get but they are possible. TSM has had quite a bit of availability show up.

I'm seeing reports of long waits just to get into the land so if you don't have any TSL FP's at all I'd recommend grabbing a TSM FP to use as your way into the land (plus you still get to ride TSM which is always fun). I have seen plenty of availability for FP's less than an hour out so you could get one, go ride a couple of non toy story rides, then use that FP as a way into the land.

And who knows, you might get lucky. I have only seen 2 times show up today for AS2 and 1 for SDD for 3 people while checking on and off. I actually found the SDD very quickly though I haven't seen any since. I'm going to keep an eye out today to see how it goes but don't give up hope if you don't have a TSL FP.

I'm checking for a group of 3. If you're looking for larger groups it will be tough but if you're just looking to get a TSM FP break the group up and you should be fine.

After so much refreshing on HS I do have a question that maybe someone can answer. If rides are listed alphabetically, how exactly does The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror go first in the list?

I've been refreshing for fun too - but ToT is always toward the bottom for me.

Also - how crazy are we that refreshing for FP in a park that we're not in today is a "fun" activity? lol

Lol gotta enjoy opening day somehow!

When there's no availability it goes into list at the bottom with other rides that show no FP's. When there is availability it doesn't show in alphabetical order as all the other do (tier 1 goes first in it's own alphabetical order, then tier 2...but each tier should be alphabetically ordered).

Yeah it is always showing alphabetically correct for me.

I'm not having any real luck refreshing with 4 people.

But when I switched to 2 people tons of TSM showed up, within 5 minutes of refreshing I saw about 10 different times pop up and a couple of them were for a little over an hour away.

Just for kicks I hit refresh while I got ready, off and on for maybe the last hour. I saw TSM come up from 20 min away until tonight, more often that not it wasn’t available. I never saw SDD or AS2, ever.

I have been checking wait times too. I'm excited to hear some reviews especially on Slinky Dog. We have our FP's for it next month. I have been trying to modify it but there has been no other times available.
