Refillable Popcorn Bucket?

Wondering if these are still available on the ships? If so, what is the cost to purchase and then the cost for refills?

Yes, they are available. I think the original purchase was around 7.00 or so. The refills were 1.50.

I just pulled out our final statement - it was 1.73 with autogratuity for the refills (this was on the Magic 2 weeks ago).

at the time it surprised me it was so low, as I was thinking it was going to be around 3.00, so maybe they used to be higher?

That's good. Not usual that the price goes down. I know it wasn't $1.50 on our June 2015 Wonder cruise.

We have done this on our last few... even got props from a CM on our "retro" bucket

I like popcorn and the popcorn I had on ship was some of the best, but it seems to me that those buckets would be a pain to pack and bring back, so I don't think it would be worth it just to save a few dollars.

It was available on the Fantasy in December. I think it was $7.50 but I don't recall the refill price since I didn't buy it.

If you are traveling with children, "kids carry-on bag" could be a solution. They can carry it, feel important, and it is out of your hair.

If you bring along the bucket (leave the lid home), just stuff small items like socks and underwear inside the bucket when you pack your bag and essentially, it takes up almost no room at all! ;-)
