My sister just returned from the WL villas. I asked her to buy me a mug at WL. She returned to advise that they did not have big mugs only the smaller sized ones and that if you went to refill it was a $1 charge per refill. Anyone heard this? This was news to me.

Something doesn't sound right. We were there in Jan and bought 4 WL mugs at Roaring Forks and refilled them during our entire stay. They are the slimmer ones that fit into a cup holder, but I believe they hold the same amount of liquid as the shorter, fatter ones.

Same here, we had our bigger ones from a previous trip, and we were excited because we like the slimmer ones better, the woman told me we could use the bigger ones because they were the old ones without the stamp for length of stay. I was not charged for refills on the new mugs and we use them everyday for commuting.

We were there in Feb and no $1 refill charge. Is this a possible April Fool's thread? :confused3

No April Fools thread. My sister just called to inform me that she was unable to get one and that the ones they had evidently were not the ones I had wanted. She may have been confused about the cup but not about what the CM said in reference to refills.

Just guessing here ... was the CM maybe confused about what she wanted to purchase ... maybe if you buy a softdrink in a regular paper cup you are able to purchase a refill for $1 ??? :confused3
