will be at all star movies in a few days


will be there two days before going on a dcl
i want to buy the mug
but have a question
I’ll also be back two days following my dcl will be in same resort
will I pay twice ?
git to say iam lost on that one
as much as I want the mug don’t want to buy one twice

I'm pretty certain the mugs get encoded with expiration 2-weeks after purchase (regardless of your actual length of stay), so they should still be valid for use as long as you're returning for the second part of your stay within that timeframe.

I'm pretty sure it's 14 days, like the previous poster said. When you set the cup onto the soda machine, the display will tell you how long it's good for. I'd just look at that to make sure when you first purchase the cup. If for some odd reason it's not the 14 days, I'm sure you could take the cup back to the checkout, explain the situation, and have them extend it to cover your entire trip.

I can confirm that the mug will work for 14 days from the first fill. We purchased one when we were there at the end of December. We first filled it on 12/26 and from that point on, the machines said that we were allowed to fill until 1/9, which is 14 days.

I want to be sure I'm understanding correctly. We have a room only, 1 night at All Star Music and then 7 nights at POP. We can buy a mug on our 1 night at ASM and it will then work when we go to POP, right? This is not a split stay under 1 reservation but it's 2 separate reservations. So no matter where/when you buy the mug it will work for 14 days?? Thanks!

Correct. Even if you say go to one of the monorail resort QS places for lunch or dinner (or just a break) from MK, you can use your mug there. Just as an example. I've done it lots of times. The mug is good for 14 days from purchase at any of the Disney resort QS places - just not inside parks.

While they will correct this with a receipt-make sure you save it. Sometimes the mugs are already activated in which case there will be less time we got one mug that was active for 1 day… They did reactivate it when we showed the receipt so no issue except the trip back to the room to get the receipt. Check the expiration date when you fill it.
