Refillable mugs?

Does anyone know if the mugs from past cruises are still good for future cruises? When the mug program started, they were supposed to be good for "life" but the past couple of years I have noticed Disney is crossing over to length of stay mugs where the mug is only good for the dates of your vacation.

We have 2 mugs from our cruise in 2000, can we bring them for our cruise in 2004?

Nope, sorry.

Last year, we took our mugs from the previous year and they turned us down flat. They seem to be enforcing the length-of-stay policy pretty good!

Technically, you are supposed to show your KTTW card with the little drink-program sticker on it, even when using your mug. That way they know your mug is eligible. Having said that, when we sailed on the Wonder earlier this month, we were rarely asked to show our card and i did see many a beat-up looking, well-worn mug out and about... esp those of the AAA variety.

We sailed last week on the Magic and the only mugs that you could purchase had the "Finding Nemo" design/logo. A CM informed me that mug designs will be changing every 3-4 months.

I love the stickers that are placed on your KTTW card. Didn't have to worry about carrying a mug everywhere.
