Refillable mugs

If we buy the refillable mugs at ASMo and then switch resorts half way through the holiday, do we have to buy new refillable mugs at the new resort or will they allow us to use the ones we bought at ASMo.

They are only supposed to be used at the resort you bought them at but if both resorts have the same design (which they do at the moment) nobody will ever know.

I am sure recently it has changed and that it is ok if a consecutive stay ie moving straight from one WDW resort to another.

"The new resort-wide mugs are good for the length of your vacation. The mugs are also not usable during future visits to Walt Disney World. Their refillable status expires when you head home. Nor are the mugs refillable in the parks themselves."

We wouldn't drink enough to get one. In August when we stayed at AKL we drank 2L of Coke in 3 days which cost 99c at Publix.

years ago they used to be lifetime (back before 95)now its length of stay.if you have 2 bookings its classed as contious stays,so no problem.
But it still amazes me when i see them using the 7/11 64 oz ones blatently

We bought one each last time and to be honest didn't hardly use them.With the DDP and getting a free drink with the meal we were all drunk out There were people who were using previous years mugs and even an animal kingdom one and noone said anything.Just gonna buy the one this time for DD as shes the one that drinks a lot and DH likes his hot chocolate before bed(bless)

we weren't on the dining plan and spent quite abit of time and at the resort, so got really good use out of ours, plus at POFQ we were very near the food court.

I think if you are not on the plan and you have along stay they are worth the money.It is good if you are near a refill station.When we were at POR we were not but still took the walk over to refill at night.

Thanks everyone. A few conflicting stories so i guess it's probably wait and see. I don't fancy shelling out twice and as mentioned by others, I too have seen people using mugs from previous years without any problem. Not sure if i'd have the nerve to do that. I don't mind paying once for the mugs but not twice on the same holiday.
