Can refillable soda mugs be used again for future cruises?

We are going on our 1st cruise in Dec. (can't wait) and I'm trying to decide if they are worth it or not! Thanks for your help!

Nope, just one cruise only. Sorry.

One can of soda pop costs $1.50 plus there is an automatic 15% gratuity added, for a total of $1.72.

If you buy 3 cans of soda per day, it would $5.18.

You also get a very usable souvenir when you take the mug home and use it.

I can tell you what you're going to hear on this board, and that is "mugs are priced each cruise, based on the number of days you will be using them." Therefore, the intention is that they are for your use for that one cruise only. Reality is, if you're cruising again on the same ship and the mug design hasn't been re-designed, no one will notice.

Can anyone tell me if the design has changed since last year? We have 2 mugs from our 2001 Magic cruise, and I'd sure love to use them again without buying new ones!

Are they still the same?
