Refillable Mugs

Good morning everyone! I have a quick question regarding the refillable mugs. We will be staying at Port Orleans Riverside and are considering purchasing these mugs. Does anyone know besides soda, what else can you get? For example, is coffee, orange juice, hot chocolate covered. Any help will be appreciated. Thanks!

I'm not sure about Port Orleans but at BC, we get coffee, iced tea and lemonade as well.

I do not recall seeing orange juice as an option. Most likely it is not.

You can get slushies in the POP refillable mugs?! Woo hoo! OK, so it doesn't take a lot to make me happy.

Is it true that the refillable mugs at BB and TL are only good for day of purchase? My teens aren't doing the theme parks, just buying them annual passes to the waterparks and going from there (their decision, don't think I'm a mean mommy or anything). I knew I would have to buy them refillables for both the resort and waterparks, but the idea of needing a new one each day at the waterparks is kind of a bummer. Can anyone confirm?

BB and TL mugs are only good for that day. You could, however, purchase a bar code on other days that would allow you to fill for very cheap. That said....I have read on here that they are no longer doing that. Hopefully someone else will know a little more about that.

Now the last time we were at POR was in 2000 but we were able to get coffee, tea, hot chocolate (I made myself some mochas!!) pop, iced tea and slushes. You could not get real juice or milk. I think their was some sort of punch drink also.

When we were there 2 years ago you could get anyting that was in the center island at the beverage station.

When we were there in May they still had the barcodes, I would assume that once you buy the mugs you then pay some fee to get a new bar code for the day but I am not sure. It makes more sense that way.

By the way, slushies at POP were the first things I noticed too and they were great!!

CR has the slushies too. That alone made my mug purchase worth it on our last trip as I was at the tail end of my morning sickness with this pregnancy and some days all I ate were slushies!

OK, now POP has slushies. Im so happy about that, but want to know, if I paid 13 dollars for the mug. When, I go to fill up, do I pay a nominal fee for each refill? Or are the refills free for the duration of trip? Im confused, for I just read something about a barcode??Now for my second question. Do people take thier mugs with them to the parks. I know, you cant get refills, in the parks. But, was wondering do must people fill up in the morning, and take thier mugs with them in transit to the park. If you do, how do u deal with holding them all day? They dont have clips, to clip onto your belt do they? TIA everyone.
