We have mugs for All Star Sports and we are staying at All Star Music in November. Can our ASSp Mugs be used at Music or do we need to purchase new ones?? Also I have heard "sometimes" any mugs can be used at ay Resort without a problem....is this true?

Here is the story on the mugs... (at least for me and those I have travelled with....)

My mug is from Dixie. I have used it, without problems at All Star movies and Fort Wilderness. I am going in 4 days and will take it when I stay at ASMusic. :D

I think I read that you can use the All Star mugs at all 3 All Star resorts.

Your All-Star mug can be used at any of the All-Star Resorts. I have used by Music mugs at all three resorts. I have not and would not recommend trying to use your mug at any of the other resorts. It might work, but then again, it might not on that particular day.

What about really old mugs, like from 2 1/2 years ago? (please say yes, they take up SO much space in my cupboard and no one ever uses them). Has the design changed?

Yes! You can bring old mugs and use 'em at the All-Stars. As "for any mugs can be used at the All Stars", I'm not sure what the official policy is, however, when we've stayed at the Sports and Movies, and everybody seemed to be filling up whatever container they had and the CM's didn't say a word....

The mugs at the All Stars all have the same design now. Last year, in Oct, they changed the design. I got one of the last old designs (handle broke on mine so I exchanged it)

I once contacted wdw via email on this subject and they replied that All-Star mugs were good at any All-Star resort for the length of the stay during which the mug was purchased.

We will be staying at PO-Riverside on our next trip. We've never stayed at a Disney onsite resort so I'm not very familiar with the refillable mugs. I understand you buy it once and then all refills at the food court are free during your stay. My question is this, can you refill them in the parks? If not, is there a special one you buy in the park and can refill in the park? I drink alot of fluids and it would be a real money saver if you can.

Sorry Minnie's Mate, there is nothing like that at all for the parks. :( Your best bet to save $$$ at the parks on fluids is to drink water. You can get cups of water and ice at any food or drink place at the parks for no charge! If you do not care for the taste of Orlando's water, I would suggest that you get a Brita water bottle. It really helps with the taste!
Hope that it helps! :)
