Refillable Mugs Info

I used to be one of the MOST vocal persons telling people that the mugs were not to be brought back on repeat visits. BUT, this last March when I was at the Boardwalk bakery the people working there insisted that the mugs were usable on repeat visits. I asked them if they were SURE, and they said, "Yes, you can bring them back as many times as you wish, and we will refill them year after year."

Keep me posted on this, because I don't want to pack that bulky mug to have it turned down.

I thought it was tacky, too, but on our last trip we stopped for lunch just before leaving for the airport on our LAST day (really at the LAST MINUTE) and were talked into buying two mugs by the CM who rang us up. We explained that we were leaving and he said the mugs were good for life "as long as this building is standing." I remember this statement clearly because we ended up discussing over lunch what would happen to all mug owners in the event of a really bad hurricane. We thought they were kind of cute anyway so we bought them. Not the greatest deal for one soda though. I'd prefer not to lug them down there for no reason, as well.
