Refillable Mugs at the Contemporary?

HI,

We are staying at the Contemporary December 2008. There will be 17 of us! What types of drinks are you allowed to get in your mug? And where in the Contemporary do you need to go? I am most interested in coffee for the adults and milk/juice for the kids. Are these available?

Right now, the refillable mug program is suspended at the Contemporary. They are changing the locations of several of the restaurants. There's a temporary quick service place on the 4th floor but no mugs are available there. The new counter service spot, Chef Mickey's Express, should be open by December. It will be located on the 4th floor of the Tower, in the former location of the Concourse Steakhouse.

Forgot to mention, that it's assumed that Chef Mickey's Express will have the refillable mugs. It's scheulded to open in August if everything goes according to their plan. Disney usually has Coke products. The old Food & Fun Center also had a slurpee machine - hopefully it will make its way to CME.

Thanks so much for your response. I thought I had heard that the Contemporary was under construction but was hoping it would be done by Dec 2008. It kind of stinks that there isn't a refillable mug station there now temporarily.

Yes, you will be able to use the mugs for coffee. One word of warning, the coffee at WDW is not very good. They use Nescafe. There is a 4 cup coffee maker in the rooms which is generally what I use while staying at the CR.
