Agreed. We prefer the freestyle machines for that reason. They have Coke Zero and the virtually identical Diet Coke. I most certainly would not call that sugar free options.

CAS mentioned in the first picture posted that there is Fuse unsweetened tea as well. They have Coke Zero and the virtually identical Diet Coke. I most certainly would not call that sugar free options.
I can get down with this, but not buying on eBay to take and fill. Just my 2 cents. This was a continued topic of debate/confusion amongst my family. Whether or not the refillable mugs are for "life of the cup vs. length of stay." We could not find anything specifying one way or another. As @CastAStone stated in post #2, "They are neither advertised as length of stay nor for forever. The signs simply say they are limited to Aulani mugs."
Here's what I'll say, when we bought our mugs, the CM at the register literally told us, "Whenever you come back to Aulani, bring back your mugs and you don't have to buy another one." So I'm going to personally run with that until instructed otherwise.
The sign on them says 6:30am to 9:00pmSo did I read right that there is no 24 hour access to any of them? My hope for the non freestyles was being able to turn them off at a certain hour like they could with freestyle machines. But I guess I understand why no 24 hour access w/ no RFID.
Correct. Lava closes at 9 (they literally cover it in Saran Wrap) and the other one stays open however late Ulu stays open that night which isn’t the same every day.So did I read right that there is no 24 hour access to any of them? Just because they took out the Freestyle machines doesn’t mean there aren’t sugar free options. They have Coke Zero and others

Yup! I’d even look for a popcorn bucket on eBay.Is the suggestion to buy them and refill them there? Is free refills designed for the life of the cup vs. length of stay?
This is relevant.Yup! I’d even look for a popcorn bucket on eBay.
Seems like the prices of tumblers and buckets aren't a huge savings on eBay. Particularly the stainless steel tumblers that are $50-$70 on eBay. Am I missing something? What happens if the design changes?Yup! I’d even look for a popcorn bucket on eBay.
For crying out loud, jumping through hoops to MAYBE save like a dollar or two is so gauche. Just buy the thing when you get there.Seems like the prices of tumblers and buckets aren't a huge savings on eBay. Particularly the stainless steel tumblers that are $50-$70 on eBay. The Coffee and tea bar does come out at 6AM at Off
The plastic mugs don’t really have value because it’s used and plastic and not really a collectible where the steel ones, if new, are. There are so many marked up on eBay but I target the cheaper things like the plastic mugs which are $25 I believe but when I have 4 guests, it pays off. The stainless mugs I dont bother. I have my own coffee mugs at home. Hope this helpsSeems like the prices of tumblers and buckets aren't a huge savings on eBay. Particularly the stainless steel tumblers that are $50-$70 on eBay.
