refillable mug?

We're thinking about getting the "Meal Deal" for 2 of our park days and had a few silly questions about the refillable mugs:

1. I know that you need the MealDeal wristband on the days you're using the mug, but do they have a way to differentiate the day that you bought the mug or can we use it for both days?

2. How big are they? I really don't feel like carting around anything huge all day...

3. Do you think it's worth it? We're a family of 5 and trying to decide if we each person should get their own or if we should share a few...

They have regular refillable mugs that you can buy and use everyday that's what we bought and refills are super cheap....around $1 I think. We are bringing them back on our next trip. Here's a picture, it's laying by my son's foot. Please excuse our goofiness

oh my god!!! those refillable cups are the bomb hahaha lol i got 3 for the price of 2 when i went to the parks in November and you only pay like 83 cents for each refill

I think the mugs are $6.99 or somewhere around there...maybe $7.99.

Ok, Those mugs are not the mugs that you get with the meal deal. those mugs in the pic's are like they said you can use them for the duration of your visit and get cheap refills.

Now when you get the meal deal you buy the meal deal refillable mug for 8.99 and get free refills for the day that u have the wrist band on your arm.

What we have(a family of 4) done in the past is we have gotten the meal deal and bought the refillable mugs with it. we usually buy two days of meal deals during our trip and then get only 4 mugs and share 2 of them on the first day and then share the other 2 on the second day of the meal deal. Then the rest of the time we have 4 mugs and can get cheap refills on the days that we don't have the meal deals.

To answer your question no they don't have any way of knowing on the day that you are using the meal deals when you bought your meal deal mugs. because they don't change the mugs and they are all the same. (thats unless they have changed their way that they do the refillable mugs , but that was the way it was for us last march.) i hope that i haven't confused you too much. Hope that it helped.

We used ours for the whole 7 days we were there and are bringing them back in August. I know lots of dis-members who reuse them as well.
