Refillable mug - reuse?

Can we bring last year's mugs with us this year? Or do they change? Are they different from resort to resort anymore? We stayed at ASMu last year and are doing Poly this year.

The refillable mugs have changed. I believe that they are the same for all the resorts. They are now red with either red, yellow or black covers.

You need to purchase a new mug. They change the designs to discourage old mugs being used.

Disney's policy is you should use it only during the stay where you acquired the mug. All resorts except Coronado Springs use the same mug pattern, which is different now than it was in 2008.

When you purchase your mugs, there is a sign that says they are for "this visit" (in simple terms). Now, there may be flames for the rest of my response - sorry. You will notice during your next trip that there will be many people that have "older" mugs with them. It seems to be a rare situation that a CM will stop you from refilling one of those mugs. That said - you should be prepared for this if you choose to bring your mugs back. They are not resort specific.
