Refillable mug question

Can the refillable mugs be purchased ahead of time or do you have to wait until you checkin? Does anyone have a link to what the ones at the All Stars look like? Thanks

Cant help you with a pic of the all star mug, but I can tell you that the mugs cannot be purchased in advance, they have to be purchased when you arrive at the resort.

I can't answer why the OP would want to purchase them ahead of time...but I can say if we were able to...I probably would...just to have them waiting in the room as a little suprise for everyone when we arrived.

I totaly agree...If you know your going to get it...why bother waiting in lines if you can purchase it ahead of time and have it waiting in your room...I'm thinking of doing this with GOH badges...and maybe even Mickey ears and a Pal Mickey.

Aren't they in the room, and when you use it, they bill your room for it?

I think, it was that way when we stayed at CSR and the BC.

That is a good idea, maybe it could be a special they offer like the dinning plan or something. I also like to have few things to pay for once I get there, and then, when you get there, you just walk over to the soft drinks and get your fill!!!

They used to be in the room. Now I think they are only at the food courts. Not sure about the deluxe resorts.

I don't know about the All Stars, but at POP you can purchase them anytime in the Everything POP store. I don't know if they can be purchased before you arrive or not.

Unless this has changed recently they were in the room in the deluxe resorts and were billed to the room if they were used. Just as the mini bar is. At the Yacht and Beach there on top of the TV cabinet.

Have stayed at the Poly, AKL, and Contemporary and we never had mugs in our room...and our first stay was in the mid 90's. We purchased them at the counter service restaurant (if we wanted them).

Yes-this is how I purchased my BC mug last year. There were 4 cellophane wrapped mugs-if you broke the cellophane, you bought the mug.

Been to the WL two times, (most recently in FEB 05) no Mugs, I had to go to roaring forks to buy them.
