Refillable Mug Question re: Cash Reservation

I have a 2 day CASH stay followed by an 8 day DVC points stay. They can't be linked. Can I buy mug on day 1 and have it activated for entire 10 days I'm there... reservations aren't linked (and cannot be) but are continuous and at same resort.

All mugs are valid for 14 days. They are no longer limited to one resort.
