Refillable mug question over new years?

We staying at 2 resorts from dec 30th-Jan 6th, so they've changed it so that the mug is good for your entire stay, but we start our stay in 2007, will the mugs change on Jan 1st?

I am not aware of the mugs changing for 2008 yet.

The current mugs do have 2007 written on them, so I imagine that some sort of 2008 mug will be released. But, since they are continuing YOAMD, it's hard to say whether the basic design would be changed. We'll have to wait and see.

I think if your trip spans from 12/31 to 1/1 that it's OK to use the same mug. The new mugs are good for "the end of the stay in which the mug was purchased." Even if you switch resorts, your 2007 mug was purchased during one WDW trip.

I am hoping that they'll come out with a whole new mug design for 2008. I'd love to be able to buy the chunky-style mugs again, too!

I doubt that they are going to change over the mugs on New Years day. I bet they either use up ones marked 2007 or start ones marked 2008 early if they run out of the 2007 model. It's not like Disney to waste. I'm sure you will be able to use one marked 2007 for your whole trip.

If the rule is that the mugs are good from the day you check-in to the day you check-out, then you should have no problems with you're mugs even if they say 2007 since you bought them on you're current trip to WDW.
