If the people who favor enforcing the drink refill rules are "the mug police" than the people who take the drinks must the the criminals or soda thieves. You don't really need police if you don't have criminals. The "free soda" group are the ones who use the term "mug police". I guess that says it all.

The reality is Disney's current policy is free drinks. Not because a friend of a friend remembers a CM saying it was free for life but because the current cm's chose not to enforce the rules. I still remember people debating the meaning of the words on the sign. The rules are clear and the current state of enforcement is also clear.

I swear - I did not have refills with that woman!

I was just trying to keep things lighthearted, since I had a sincere question, and not a "I hate people who re-use the mugs, don't you?!?" thread. I'm pretty sure we already have one of those, lol.

My understanding is that you can use the PO mugs at either resort. Three years ago they had the green and yellow and the purple and white mugs at POFQ, with most people using the green and yellow at PO-R. Two years ago they sold just the purple and white at PO-R. I wouldn't hesitate using it at both. (From three trips, we now have 12 of the same mugs.....why didn't we reuse!?)

Since I would ever only stay concierge, I would have no need for the refillable mugs that you common folks go on and on about. How bourgeoise, and peasantlike. Refillable mugs indeed. Please spend the 550 per night, and stay concierge. Then you can have unlimited sodas, and we can turn our attention to where it deserves, like casting stones at all the pool hoppers. oh yeah. Now if you will excuse me, I have to go have my caviar and goose liver pate.

Yes, it is my understanding the both the PO Riverside and French Quarter resorts sell the same mug and refills are fine at either resort. I answered this question earlier but I wanted to clarify my answer. It might not hurt to ask a CM to be sure but I am nearly certain--it is like the pools...they are sister resorts. When you buy a refillable mug at Yacht club you can refill it at any of the Beach club locations during the stay in the same manner.

I love refillable mug posts! can someone please ask if they can use them on subsequent trips, and then someone say no, then someone say yes, then someone say that a cm told them that they could use them forever, then someone chastise everyone for being dishonest, then someone say people should just mind their own business, then a moderator says to clean it up, then someone gets mad, then the post gets closed... like I said, i love refillable mug posts!

I'll sum up the last great refillable mug thread (an instant classic, btw). For those of you who missed it, here goes...
