Wondering if these are worth the hassle at BWV. Where would you go to refill these? Any of the BW restaurants or just certain places?

The mugs can be refilled at the Boardwalk Bakery, Joe's coffee cart (which is not open early mornings) and Leaping Libations (the snack bar next to the Luna Park pool).

IMHO, the mugs make a great souvenir, but are not worth it for saving money on drinks - both for the hassle factor you already mentioned, and because the villas all have refrigerators. I'd rather fill the fridge with my favorite drinks and brew my own coffee.

If you spend a lot of time by the pool, a refillable mug may be a good value. Since we still spend most mornings in the park, I'd rather not have to carry my coffee mug around all day!

JMHO. YMMV.

I agree with Carol. If you are a pool person they can be worth it. But otherwise, they are only a nice souvenier. Same goes for BCV and VWL.

Anyone heard if they will have these refillable mugs available at SSR???

I would imagine they will have it at SSR. It has to be a huge money maker for Disney. A lot of potential soda/coffee drinkers will be at SSR.

I have purchased/used the mugs at Dixie Landings/Port Orleans Riverside many times. Just got back from BCV and didn't bother to purchase! At Riverside, the mug refill station was self service. At BCV you had to wait on line every time. Not worth the wait!

Thanks for the information everyone.

BTW--do these drink stops have actual mug refill stations or do you ask a CM attendant to get you something?

At Port Orleans/Riverside there were self service refill stations. At BC you have to wait on the take out line at Beaches & Cream or Hannah's.

You have to wait for a CM to help you at all of the places at the Boardwalk.

You can also get refill at BWV at Seashore Sweets (not sure that's the right name) and we get coffee in the morning at the lounge right off the lobby.

DH is always the early riser....but I know he got coffee in our refill mugs in the early morning hours (they're all early to me, lol!) while we stayed at BCV....I think there's a small coffee/danish bar in the lobby area of the resort. Maybe somebody else could just confirm this...
Ok, I just called him. There's no name that he can remember. It's just a little cubby area off the lobby (on the Cape May end of BC lobby).
You pour your own coffee, so it's self serve.
:cloud9: (this is me sleeping in , while he investigates the resort!)
