Is the Boardwalk Bakery the only place to fill a refillable mug while staying at Boardwalk? Thanks

Anyone know other locations at the BoardWalk to refill the mugs?

How does it work? Do you have other people refill them or are there self-serve stations?

How early/late are these places open?

Thanks! :goodvibes

At night there are some kiosks that open as well to refill them. The area at the pool will also refill them. I pretty much go to the Bakery, we are always at BW. It is easy because it is down the stairs from either the bus area, or it is right by the boats so its not too bad, but we always get a refillable mug

Thanks for the quick response! It would be great to be able to refill at the pool.

I always hear that the BoardWalk Bakery has such long lines in the morning, I'd hate to be waiting just for a refill. :confused3

Where do you usually get your morning beverage fix?

Are these "evening kiosks" just for drinks or are they the places that also sell fast food?

Thanks!

You can also refill it at the Bell View lounge which is where we wound up doing it alot so we didn't have to go down to the Boardwalk. The bakery does it but there is no self service station. Last year they actually gave us cans of soda! Also Boardwalk Joe's does it but it is not always open.

Thanks for the info on the bakery. Are there any self service stations anywhere in the resort?

I have never had to wait long in the morning, but then again somebody walks down early normally and gets them filled, but I have gone at 8 am and been just fine, there might have been 3 people in front, and looks like alot because there isn't much space to move, but then keep the line going fast, also with the DDP people just swipe their "key to the kingdom" cards. So I have never had an issue.

Boardwalk Bakey because it is on the way to epcot or DHS, and also you can just run down the stairs on your way to the busses.

They sell fast food, we have normally always gone in the off season so the one that is open is the funnel cake and i believe corndog one, pretzels, fried candy bars, cotton candy, and on the weekends they have had like a coffee cart sort of thing there too, but there is also Boardwalk bakery, and sweet shop, the one thing I can say is that we never had trouble refilling our mug, and we would send somebody down to the bakery and just get coffee, split it between two because otherwise it was alot of coffee we found and then just go back before we left for a park, also in the room there is coffee maker that we would use as well, we just packed some coffee and filters from home and brought it with us, they also give you coffee too, we just have a thing for our coffee...hehehe

Thanks!

Thanks for the response!

So do you just hand over your mug to get it filled?

No, you tell them you want a refill for your mug and they give you your drink in a paper cup. Which you then have to pour into your mug. :confused3 I've heard it's due to sanitary reasons. But I don't know for sure.

Thanks for all the replies. :goodvibes As you can see, Smiller & I are very interested in all the details about the refillable mugs. I'm really excited to try BWV! :woohoo:

You can also fill your mug at the Pizza window at Spoodles. It is more inconvenient than at the resorts that have snack shops since there's no self serve place, but we always get them anyway.
