Me & my party have heard that you can get refillable cups could you please advise if they are worth investing in and can you use them at more than one park

Thanx:yay:

They are good for the Resort of purchase only as far as I know. It all depends on how long you are staying and how often you plan on filling them up. If you purchase a drink each time it adds up. It was totally worth it to us and we had a mug to take home as well.

We buy refillable mugs every time we go. It is totally worth it. We got our coffee in the morning and drank it on the way to the parks every morning. We clipped the mugs onto our bags every day and when we return to the resort, we have them for a icey or soda at the end of the day. We love them!

It is an extremely valuable purchase. Our family of four buys atleast one or two everytime and shares through straws, that way we only have to get that one or two mugs instead of a new drink everytime we dine at the cafe. Since we bring a back pack strapped DM wheel chair we can fill up mugs and bring them to the park for early morning drinking. Then dry them out and put them in the backpack.

To the OP's original question, I don't know of any refillable mugs in the actual parks (except for the water parks) but I could have missed them.

They are available at all if not most resorts. It was definitely worth it for my family to purchase the mugs at POR and we'll be buying new ones next week when we are at CBR.

Animal Kingdom had a refillable cup! We got 1 last April and it cost $1 to have it refilled! The cups at hotels are also a great value! Our family of 4 bought 2 and we also filled them everday before heading to a park!! They really do save you alot of money!!
Enjoy your trip!!

When I bought my refillable cup, my husband told me it was a waste...but guess who got up early every day to steal it and sneak off for coffee? And took it with him for walks at night returning with a soda. Definately worth it IMO, but next time I'm making him buy his own.

LOL that is Funny:rotfl:

the refiillable cup worked great for DH, who used it for tea and soda and whatever. but for me, 1 day of that nasty nescafe and the fact that i can NOT drink anything carbonated was it. so it is hit or miss. if you drink carbonated beverages it is fine.
it just was not worth 12 bucks for me. but with what he drank, it probably paid for itself. :confused3

Refillable mugs are at most if not all WDW owned resorts. They cost roughly $12. They are good only at your resort and only during your stay. Mugs can be a great value or just a souviener. It all depends on how often you will be getting drinks at your resorts. We have used them in the past and loved them. this last trip we opted to not mess with them since we were on the DDP, and honestly we didn't really miss them that much. deciding if it is worth it or not will have to be up to you.
The parks do not offer mugs with unlimited free refills (that I know of). The only exception is the Water Parks...BUT, I believe they are only supposed to be used the day of purchase and are only good at the water park that you bought it.

The only park that has refillable cups is AK. I am not sure why they have it, but the previous poster is correct that refills are only a dollar. But you can only use it at AK.

IMHO, i did not get the value from it. I was not keen on the coffee there but could only get cream, i ususally need milk. I could ask someone to go in the back to get it but it always made an additional wait. As for soft drinks, i don't drink them and that was all that was offered were fountain drinks. I hoped there would have been at least one juice available but wasnt. that being said, i think it is a good souvenir and the mug fits in my car cup holder so i will use it at home!:)
