Refillable beer mugs?

hi

i had read somewhere that there are beer "mugs" you can purchase on board & get refills

is this true?? if so how much does it cost & is it for the duration of your cruise

The beer mug is $9.99 and refills for the 20 oz mug are the same price as the regular 16 oz beer.

sorry . I don't understand the response ? You buy a $ 10 mug and you get free beers for the rest of the cruise ? I am married with "Germany" therefore I need to know .. Do you need to carry this mug everywhere or you have a card / bracelet ?

No, refills are not free. You get a 20 oz mug refilled for the same price as a 16 oz draft beer. You pay $9.99 for the mug. You have to carry the mug with you to take advantage of the refill discount, since the mug holds 20 oz while the regular beer cups hold only 16 oz.

That doesn't seem very cost friendly...$9.99 for 4 extra oz? I guess over the course of a few days it would work out, but it seems almost silly.

How much are the 16 oz beers?

I think I'd rather pay $25 (or more) for a mug and get FREE refills.
