Refill Mugs

O.K., I know this is bad but has Pop Century changed the refilable mugs from last year? We stayed at Pop last summer and will return again in June and still have our mugs. I was hoping to bring them back and save us 30 dollars. If anyone could help me it would be great. Thanks.

The mugs are only good for the one stay. You have to buy new ones each stay.

They could change them at any time, so I guess you won't know for sure until you get there. I wouldn't want to lug 3 mugs there and then realize they are different and buy 3 new ones and then have 6 mugs to take home- that would take up a lot of luggage space!

Does each resort have multiple "versions" of mugs or are they all they same? I'll be buying ones for all 4 of us and thought it'd be great to get 4 different versions so there's no confusion over who's is who's.

It depends on the resort. Some have two different picture designs- like CBR has one w/disney characters and another with a jamaican type design. Or they might have different color lids.

Or they can have the short fat mugs, or the skinnier travel mugs that fit in a cup holder.

Or they can just have one design/style, like at Polynesian.

The CR has two different colors, but the same designs on them. The colors are white with either red or purple(perhaps blue, I'm colorblind) covers and handles.

my dd laughs at me, cause i brought back mugs the last two summers we have gone, we travel by train, so i just stuff them in. my husband sometimes will just buy a new one. it doesnt matter to me. they have not really changed the all stars . so if you have room.............take em along. if not , buy new ones when you get there................

When we were there last March there were people w/ POFQ mugs and that was closed when we were there so I know they must have been old mugs. I also saw different mugs that said POR. No one questioned them.

The refillable mugs are only good for the length of the stay that you bought them at the resort you bought them.

The mugs are the SAME design each time we have gone this year, and to buy NEW mugs each time is ridiculous. People there are using mugs from different resorts and nobody has ever said a darn thing. The CM's have even said we could use our mugs again each time we visited, so I am going with that!

Keep in mind though that this varies by resort. I have read that different resorts enforce the policy and some do not.

I personally wouldn't use the same mug for a different resort. But if it was the same one then I would. Last year we stayed at ASmovies and bought4/5 mugs because my 2 1/2 wouldn't get the use out of it. This year we are going to POR and I will by 5 new ones. I personally would be very nervous and turn very red if I was caught with a ASMovies mug at POR by a CM.
This of course is my opinion only.

that I would not use a different resorts mug at the resort I was staying at. I was just stating that my POFQ mug has not changed this year, and I have been there three times already and have brought it with me three times! I did check with the CM's there and they said it was fine. I understand that other resorts may tell you something entirely different.

we bring back our resort mugs to the same resort
on our last vacation we brought back our Wilderness Lodge mugs - didnt buy Caribbean Beach mugs because we only stayed there 2nights
This Aug I'll be bringing back our PortOrleans mugs and either bringing back Wilderness Lodge mugs or buying new Beach Club mugs
I wont fill the mugs at the foodcourts w/other resort mugs but if Im making myself a mixed drink/etc I will walk around with it
