Referrals

I'm sure this has been asked before, but I can't seem to find it in any of the threads. Does DVC provide any rewards for referrals of new Members?

I'm not sure on multiple referrals, but we received 200 disney dollars last Nov. for one referral.

They do, BUT , certain States don't allow it.

I'm from NY. Appearently NY allows this, as PETERD receive the Disney $$. Is this something that needs to be pursued, or do I trust that DVC will come thru on their own.

If it is an approved state that Disney can sell DVC in you will get a referral reward if the person ends up purchasing.

1st referral = $ 200
2nd referral = $ 350
3rd referral = $ 500
4th referral = $ 200
5th referral = $ 350


All have to be in the same year otherwise it starts over in the next year.

it's automatic! I had told our neighbor 2 years ago about the advantages of dvc after they took 3 trips to wdw and paid to stay at okw and treehouse villas!

I gave them the name of the timeshare store who we bought thru.

well out of the blue, they were at wdw in oct, bought vwl with magical beginnings and must have given our name.

lo and behold a few weeks later I get the form asking what gift I'd like. And yesterday fedex delivered my $200 disney collars!!!

perfect timing as we'll be on the magic next month.

I was amazed!

What if you refer a friend and he (or she) buys a resale? Does it count?
