DH's aunt and uncle just bought in two years ago, and we are using them as a referral. How do we go about doing that? What info do they need to give us, etc?

When you talk to your Guide or New Guide let them know you have a referral. You will need their First and Last Name. That is it.

It would not hurt to mention the referral but I'm sure there is a difference buying through Disney and/or through resale. Are you thinking about buying into DVC? We love it! Disney has so much to offer other than the parks and many people do not realize that. They think only of rides and characters. If we had not joined DVC we would not have been able to enjoy Animal Kingdom Lodge & Boardwalk Villas. On our 4th trip in 5 years we decided to make an appt. to just see what DVC was all about. We had stayed at all of the All-Stars previous to purchase and we realize the money that we put into that we could stay at the Villas. We look forward to the next 45+ years with Disney.

Referrals only work if you are buying direct from Disney. Resale brokers can do nothing for you other than say thank you.
