Reef flip flops on the plane?

DH and I both have reef flip flops that have the bottle opener on the bottom. Can we wear these on the plane???

I wear my reef's with bottle openers on planes. You should be good, you just have to send them through the security scanners.
 
I wear mine often - three r/t flights since June with no issues including MCO to PHI last Tuesday!

The TSA has no restrictions on bottle openers or flip flops so I have no idea why either would be prohibited and fwiw its not the airline you need to confirm with but the TSA.

As always I recommend tsa.gov for the most up to date info on flying:)
 
bottle openers are fine in your carry-on, so they should be fine in your shoe. If the opener has a cork screw attached, that's a different story.
