Reef Fannings - Any Problems Going Through Airport Security?

I just bought a pair of Reef Fanning flip flops and was wondering if any of you had problems going through airport security with that bottle opener in the sole?

I have them and love them!! No problem in security - you have to take them off, like all shoes - but I've never had any trouble with security. I worn them thhrough security at least 6 times. - Ohare, Orlando, Phoenix

Like the PP said, you have to take them off and put them through the xray anway so there is no problemo.

That being said I dont wear flip flops to the airport because I dont want to walk through with bare feet :| icky. I wear crocs with socks and take the socks off mid flight.
