Hi! I have several questions about the Redwood Creek Challenge Trail. First, we are planning on doing this with my 4-year-old son on our upcoming trip next week. Do you think 4.5 is a good age to participate? I'm also wondering how much time to allot to do all of the activities and participate in the ceremony. Is the ceremony held at the same times each day? I couldn't find much info online, so any help would be greatly appreciated!

It's pretty casual. You get a map and walk around to the specific areas. You scratch off the corresponding symbol. Then you hand it to the CM at the entrance and they say the cute little saying about exploring the wilderness and they give you a sticker.
There is also a little "show" but I have never seen it.
The rock wall and zip line thing has a 42 inch height requirement. My daughter could run around in that place all day but I would say an hour is more than enough time.

Great! Thanks for all the info! That's good to know about the height limit. I'm going to measure my son today.
