I was thinking of doing this for our trip this spring break. We're going to Vero for a week and we thought we would take 1 day and drive in to Orlando WWoHP at Islands of Adventure.
We've never been to Universal before and don't expect to do much other than the one area - I've heard the lines are still really long and time consuming.
Anyone used the 1-day tickets from airmiles before? Is that all I need for IoA or do I need an extra pass for the Harry Potter area?

We used Universal tickets last year through airmiles and IoA this year(AM again) to do WWoHP in March as well. I believe you just need the entry tickets.

Last year we went at Christmas and lines were not long at all. I hear Harry Potter is a different story though...

I have a 1 day pass - used Aeroplan pts. That's all you need for WWOHP. But you must choose IOA. Not Universal.

Lines can be really long depending on when you go. Get to the park before opening and do all the major rides first using singles line whenever you can!

Thanks for the responses - that's what I needed to know. If it were up to me we'd just hang out at Vero all week. It will be an early morning and probably a late night. But we won't be in a rush and if that's all we do then that's all we do.

I had redeemed Airmiles in the summer for Universal tickets and it says on the back that I can use for either Universal or Islands. They don't expire so if you end up staying in Vero, you can save them for your next trip. We were going to go in November but my son decided that he wanted a second day at SeaWorld instead so we are saving our tickets for later this year.

Exactly - basically you are getting the 1 day, 1 park ticket and it can be used at either Universal Studios or Islands of Adventure

Sorry. I did mean enter IOA. In other words it is not a hopper. If we go in US we will miss WWOHP. The pass itself is valid at either park

Question:

I just redeemed my airmiles for 4 Universal Passes. I chose the 3 days for 2 Promo (one park per day)...however when I went to check out it said "3 Days For 2 w/Park to Park". I did it twice (thought perhaps I made an error the first time) and both times this was what came up at checkout :confused3 Has anyone else ran into this as well?

Regardless I ordered them and wouldn't refuse the perk if they were Park to Park ;)

I double checked and the 3 days for 2 does include "park to park" ... this is direct from the Airmiles website

Okay I saw that when I ordered and I just thought it was a default picture or something. I was just going by what I chose for the ticket and the ticket description on the lower right corner. :rotfl2:

It's always nice to receive a little extra something nice when you're not expectiing it :goodvibes

Thanks for your help!
