redeem GAD on Day 1 to use on Day 2?

Ex. redeem for pass on Monday to use on Tuesday or Wed depending on our schedule.

No. The GAD ticket must be used on the day the voucher is redeemed.

If you use it that day you can do an upgrade within 14 days. If you do not use the ticket on the day of issue it automatically becomes invalid.

I am using my GAD for a free day in the parks. But my firend has4 GAD vouchers they are using for FP They are a party of 5. So when you hand in a voucher at MK for FP's, will they give you enough for the whole party? So then they go to AK the next day and turn in a Voucher, and they get more FP. They get this at each park? I am lost. I thought there was a thread that had this info, but I do not see it anymore. HELP Going in a week.

Yes. Each GAD voucher may be exchanged for special FastPass Cards for each member of the party, up to six people. All members of the party must be present at that time. Note the person who is exchanging the voucher must show they have a currently valid multi-day ticket. And the FP cards are valid at that park and that day only.

I am new to DIsney and confused..lol... If I have a GAD coucher, can it be used towards a 2 day ticket? So, what would I pay? Either do it when I get there.... or could I do it as an upgrade?

Here is what you do...

On your first park day, get there a little early, and find the Will Call window. It is one of the ticket booths, except at MK (where there are no ticket booths), where it is usually the Guest Relations windows outside the turnstiles on the right, or on rare occasions the small round building nearby. There will be a sign with an arrow pointing which way.

Tell them you are redeeming your Give A Day Voucher for the free ticket, and give them the voucher (not required, but makes it easier) and your ID (required). ASK them if you can upgrade it to a 2-day (or whatever) ticket. They will likely say you need to use it first - if so, no big deal. Some CMs will apparently upgrade it right then and there. If so, you pay the exact difference between a 1-day MYW base ticket and the target ticket, including tax.

If they don't upgrade then, you can do so at any time at your convenience before you need the additional day(s) (and within the 14-day upgrade limit) at ANY ticket booth or guest relations location.

The difference between an adult 1-day base and 2-day base is currently $80+tax (savings of $2+tax).
