I like it. I think it looks good. Keeps with the theme. Will be interested to see it in person next time I go.

Interesting that it's being reported that the ride opened to load ............. then everyone was escorted out of the building. Line was emptied ......... so no waiting around ......... not good sign for moment.

Guess there has been a mutiny inside .....................

Loving everything I'm seeing so far with her. She's got really great, fluid movement!! Much as I've always loved Pirates regardless, it's so nice to have another "advanced" animatronic figure in a ride that was otherwise chock-full of very limited movements.

I am extremely excited!! I was in the camp of "I don't NEED this to be changed but I wouldn't mind". It seems to have turned out for the best! She is a great, updated animatronic who frankly is more fun to see on vacation for me then a woman being sold off.

I was of similar mind. I don't think it *needed* to change (they are pirates after all, they do bad things) but also didn't think it *needed* to stay the same and things in the parks are always evolving and I did wind up chatting with a number of people who were rather upset about the prior version and I don't really see this as detracting from the ride and it definitely improves it for at least some people - so that is a net positive in my book.

Very glad it seems they put some effort into this though and it looks like a positive change

I feel exactly the same way. I loved the original Pirates, I was (eventually) fine with the addition of Jack Sparrow and Barbossa, and I feel that this only adds to the ride without taking anything away. She's clearly a much more advanced figure and having a lady pirate is, if nothing else, solidly cool. I'm just a big fan of being able to return to old favorites that have received some kind of update/refresh so that it's not the same exact experience year after year.

I was ok with the change on one condition- that they somehow kept the ‘we wants the redhead’ line. It would have been so easy - the guy auctioneer would say something like ‘do ya want to buy from me or her’ to which the crowd could reply ‘we wants the redhead’. Instead they want rum. Boo.

That animatronic looks amazing! Sure the new dialogue is a bit cornball, cringey...but it makes you smile!

She looks good, yes the dialogue is corny, but my only beef is the voice. The voice sounds like a middle aged Mom trying to act like a pirate to make their 4 year old laugh.

I was in the camp that it shouldn't have been changed but I can deal with this version.
