Hey all,

Is there a place to get red velvet cake anywhere in Disney World? Any opinions on the quality of said cake if it does indeed exist?

The tye-dye cheesecake doesn't count, because while I love both red velvet and cheesecake, that thing looks like an abomination. :crazy2:

Thanks!

I know the tie dye cheesecake looks weird, but it tastes just like regular cheesecake!

I'm fairly certain that it is an option at the Chef Mickey's Dinner buffet, but I've never had it so I can't comment on the quality. I do know that they have a fairly extensive dessert selection there, but I'm not sure if it changes frequently or if you can always expect the same desserts every night.

Thanks all for the replies.

Maybe I'll try the tie-dye cheesecake... I am kind of amazed with all the locales that red velvet is such a rarity. Which is why I asked in the first place, since I never see it in the food picture threads. :confused3

Thanks again.

I had a red velvet cupcake in animal kingdom (It was in one of the shops near DinoLand - I'm not sure of the name of the shop) It was in a small display case by the register....and it was piled high with icing! absolutely delicious!
