Red Velvet Cake - your frosting preference

I have a red velvet cake with cheesecake frosting on order for delivery during our Jiko meal next month.

Debating flipping it to buttercream. Would like to hear your pick and why.

I always do cream cheese frosting with red velvet.

Cream cheese! Butter Cream lacks the flavor profile to stand up to the Red Velvet taste. Cream cheese compliments the Red Velvet.
