If it makes you feel any better, they might release things that you don't have like gray mansion? green explorer?

Well, I have those (giggle) because I worked hard and traded for them, but whether I have them is not of concern. I have friends that do not have them and it would be great for them to have a chance to get them.

I would have no issue with re-releasing those, or the "Rurple" for that matter. Just release it in the same way people had to get it before. Player respect.

Meanwhile, I will wait for the green car pin to be available to me for 500 credits.

I have no issue really the hat was up for sale. But two things stuck out to me.

Nearly every hat that I have bought is 1,000 credits and being it was the second most difficult quest that VMK put on I think that at least sell it for two grand like bat hat, reindeer extra. 500 hundred seems a little low when new items football hats are 1,000

I do find it amusing after doing the most difficult was to date that they would put this up. But they may decide these things months in advance.

I am really glad people can get this now. Just would expected a little more sensitivity.

But then again maybe they are and feeling bad for all those stuck short the decided to sell the next best thing.

Who knows the thinking but this is minor to the big issue of bad communication.

If it makes you feel better- my daughter got it last night and she was thrilled she has moved it around all her rooms trying to decide where to put it

Aww it's ok, and I'm so glad she loves the theatre.

I'd be all for the tron room being released again. I would also love to be able to own my own green explorer and gray mansion as well.

I'm glad to see they released the red basball suit. even though I traded a lot for the hat, I finally have the pants to complete my outfit, and it gives the newer players a chance to buy it for themselves.

i agree with dreams, give us a quest (NOT IMPOSSIABLE but hard) to re-earn old items, i traded to get my rurple outfit for a stitch box or pin (gonna buy my hat...finally). i traded my haunted clock for a star or mickey pin, only to have it released a few days later at a host pin trade event. while i do not regret my trades, i do agree all hats have been 1-2k now its 500? thats like releasing the stitch hat for 100 credits. and dreams, pm me when green car goes on sale, i am getting 1 too. yes i am happy new players (my 12 yr old DD) can get it but it was a PRIZE. yes they released the umbrella today that was in the quest but how would the winners feel if they released all items on quest for 100-500 credits. VMK'ers work hard to get their items, trade, save money i mean credits and now......

and dont get me started on the "promises" the newsletter states. if we did that VMK would ban us. should we put vmk on ban??

People really need to stop complaining! I played this quest and did get full rurple baseball, I still bought it today. I am happy some other players got to get it, other wise they would have to trade alot of stuff to get it. This is a kids game, first you complain the quest is too hard, for small kids. Now you are complaining that this game is too easy to get rare, I would think most kids would be happy to see this item they may have missed or the quest was too hard. Always something to complain about I guess

What I was trying to say is there is some people who are complaining about both, which I think is very hypocritical. I stand by you with the belief that quest was too hard, but they are some people who want easy quests for kids and no re-releases (which I am sure is mostly for kids). That is like saying the quest is too hard, that little kids can't have prizes, then complaining when the prize(s) come back to sale.

Release the hat quest again if you want, but to sell if for 500 credits?!? Come on VMK.

I have NO issue with re-releasing the "Rurple" outfit. None. I have an issue with HOW it was released. I think it should be released again, in the EXACT way that it was first released. Let people get it, in the same way that it was earned the first time around. To sell the hat that people spent HOURS earning (and for less than any hat in recent history) is just ridiculous. Re-release it every day if they want - I have NO problem with that. Just do so in a way that is fair to all players.

Let me know when they sell the green car magic pin for 500 credits. I'll be first in line.

You, yourself just stated it took hours to win. I pose this question: How many (be honest) 8-14 year olds have hours to spend on a single quest that was torture for most of us? And how would a quest that difficult be fair to all players? It wasn't then, and wouldn't be now.

I don't think Rurple hat is a "badge of honor". The honor in VMK comes from the players themselves. Just like with Blackheart, I don't consider silver ears "honorable" either. However, the players that spent hours upon hours helping others were honorable, even if they didn't complete the quest.

Yes, Rurple was a difficult quest. It's been 2 years. Let the new kids have it. I don't think VMK would benefit from releasing another difficult quest right now, so selling it is logical. Maybe it gives hope to those wishing for silver ears. Just wait long enough and VMK will sell it to you.

I have been a player since Beta. Have a few items from Beta that have been released, either because of on Sale or through quests. It happens, continues to happen we just have to learn to deal with it.

Yes, the purple hat quest was a tough quest. But also, I would like stuff to be relased to new peeps. New peeps have the right to collect stuff too and to not pay out the nose for stuff as well.

Since that hat was and is so popular, I think I am going to buy a few to give to nice new people that I meet as a welcome gift.

All I can say is that I hope this means that all of the items from the Blackheart quest will be released in the stores at some point at reasonable prices. If it can be done with Red Baseball, I see no reason why it can't be done with all of those items as well. I'm not saying I expect them next week, since Red Baseball definitely wasn't released a week later, but I don't think that it's unreasonable for them to release all this stuff eventually as well.

As a sidenote, back when the whole Red Baseball debacle was going on, I truly wish they had used a different item for those weekend quests to begin with. When they released the baseball items, only boys could buy the blue uniforms and only girls could buy the blue cheerleader costume. All the girls who wanted baseball uniforms at all had to go through that nightmare quest. What would have worked better would be if they'd released blue baseball for boys, red baseball (which is really purple) for girls, blue cheerleader for girls, and red yell leader for boys. I really think that a lot of the previous value of the Red Baseball for girls stems from this, that there was no other way for their character to have a baseball uniform. It's a shame that it took this long for them to easily have this option.

Also, maybe there wouldn't have been so many hard feelings about this re-release had they waited a month or so. I think there's still some upset about the recent quest, so some people are going to take it personally and as a slap in the face. That's their feelings, which I'm not going to hold against anyone.

I believe the reason the red baseball hat is 500 credits is because the blue baseball hat is also 500 credits and was last time I bought it for my boy avatar.
