recyclebank.com... any one use this?

We recently changed trash removal companies and our new company has a program with recyclebank.com where they keep track of how much we recycle (I believe they weigh the container as they dump the stuff in the truck) and we earn points and can redeem them for gift cards and discounts on items. It seems like a great program, I just registered and they gave me 40 points to start. I was wondering if anyone has any experience using this rewards program and how much your typical family earns in rewards.... not sure if it will take forever to get enough points to actually redeem them or not... mostly just curious, there is no effort on our part except to recycle (which we do anyways) so even if it takes a year to earn a $10 Dunkins gift card, well woo hoo for that!

We recently started doing this also. To sign up we got a $1 off powerade, (which we don't drink) and the second thing we were elegible for is $2 off soft scrub (which I don't use) so I will just continue to let the points accumulate and see what comes up next. No biggie, we would recycle any ways.

I saw an article about this in Time a few weeks ago. It sounded really cool, so I checked out their website. We're not in an area that we could use it - no curbside pickup, and apparently you can't just get the bucket, and then bring it to the recycling center yourself. Oh well.
