Recurrent Pink Eye? Vent....

I noticed I had pink eye back on March 29 and immediately went to my opthamologist. He confirmed it was pink eye and prescribed Ciprofloxacin. I used the until April 15 when he told me I could stop using them. (I saw him twice between March 29 and April 15). This whole time I haven't worn my contacts, worn eye make up, anything and I threw out all the contact cases I had and anything that may have remotely touched my eye.

I am scheduled to see the doctor Monday and I woke up this morning with what appears to be pink eye again. I'm just so frustrated. Wearing glasses outside when its so sunny actually makes me feel quite delirious.

Has anyone ever had this?

Any home remedies anyone can recommend? I'm going bonkers wearing these glasses everyday

I went through a period of time when I kept getting reinfected. I still don't know if it was from makeup or because the infection kept circling through people I knew and I was just getting new infections of the same thing.

I finally threw absolutely everything out, all face makeup and applicators ect (face powder brushes powder puffs... all of it) and either washed (door handles) or threw out everything I touch like pens ect AND kept to a strict hand washing schedule and the cycle eventually ended.

I don't think home remedies work, why wouldn't you just start yourself back on the drops until it clears up?

Do you have allergies? They can cause pink eye. Might want to try some OTC Alaway or a prescription strength eyedrop like Pataday.
