Ok so I am officially worried. I applied for the Summer Alumni CP and got accepted for Housekeeping. Sweet.

Then I got an email about starting early, and I was all over it. And I got accepted for that too, but for a role in Attractions. Yuck. Did that once, not thrilled to do it again, so the recruiter told me to think about it and call her back in a few days. Sweet.

So I called her to tell her no thanks, I'll start in May and she tells me that there is a role open in Recreation and asked if I'd like to do that instead. She briefly described the role and it sounded like it was within my realm of capability, so I said yes, now I start on April 24th. Sweet.

Now, as I'm looking over the list on roles and responsibilities on the CP website, one of the responsibilities listed is "Strong Swimming Skills".

Not sweet.

I can't swim. At all. Seriously. Is this an issue, or will I be at the resorts, since I can't swim. I requested resorts over water parks, but having worked for Disney once, I know that a request can only do so much. So if I'm placed at a water park, can I tell them that it won't work, or will I get termed or something? I'd hate to be the cause of someone's death.

I'm sure if you let them know you don't know how to swim they will accommodate. I mean I don't know for sure as I've never worked for them so my input really means nothing. I doubt they term you just because you can't swim.
