recommended rooms at Pop / getting rooms close by

12 of us are going to be staying at Pop for our wedding next year, in 6 rooms, and we are booked through Virgin Holidays, UK.

We've not paid the extra for a preferred rooms, but does anyone have any suggestions as to a good area we might request, and what the most successul way of trying to request we all have rooms in the same block might be?? I presume I can just ring Virgin and give them the list of booking numbers to request together, but will they get funny with me and want the others permission for this request - I know they're a bit weird with things like this sometimes!
