Recommended restaurants near POR?

Hi,

We've booked a May trip and are currently planning on staying at PO'R. I am not familiar with layout of hotel to parks, other hotels, etc. so, does anyone recommend some easily accessible (other than at the hotel!) restaurants from PO'R? Is the PO'R in pretty good proximity to all the parks? I've already got reservations at 1900 PF for dinner, Chef Mickey's for breakfast (the morning we are at Epcot), Tusker House for breakfast (the a.m. we are at AK) but will probably prefer more sit-down meals now that we have 3 potential buffets. Any suggestions to make this trip with young kids more enjoyable is greatly appreciated. We are only buying base tix so we won't be bouncing around from park to park. Thanks!

Disney transportation can get you to any of the other resorts or parks so don't restrict yourself too much.

POR is near Downtown Disney. They have a boat that will take you from POR to POFQ and then on to Downtown Disney. Several restaurants are there although most don't meet our preferences except perhaps Wolf Gang Pucks.

Ohana's is fun for families, great food and they have someone singing as well as games for kids such as coconut races. Kona is also very good with excellent desserts.

Kids often love Coral Reef with its huge aquarium to watch while dining.
