We get in around dinner time our first night and thought it would be fun to have dinner at a resort QS. We have a car so we could drive to the resorts to eat. Where would you guys recommend? Oh we are at all star music resort. Thanks!

Port Orleans Riverside has many choices from a build your own pasta dish, to a carved turkey dinner, and many more. For dessert choose an ice cream flavor and cookies for a huge hand scooped ice cream sandwich. After dinner, stroll the beautifuly landscaped walkways and bridges along the river, or take a horse and carriage ride, or a boat ride to Disney Springs.

We have chosen Boatwrights for an arrival night meal, but I would second your suggestion for the CS option. I htink that POR is a pretty resort to visit, and cannot think of too many things more relaxing than the water taxi ride to DS and back, expecially after dark.

I would check out the menus ahead of time and choose based on which resort you've not visited yet.

AofA and Pop are great cause you can easily walk between both counter service locations. So lots of selection between the two.

POFQ is nice cause it's smaller, quieter and generally less crowded then other resorts. Plus it's pretty at night.

AKL Mara, while not the most impressive dining room, has a nice food selection, and gives you an opportunity to walk through that great lobby and visit the animal viewing areas.

Contempo Cafe, if you want to eat in the main Contemporary concourse. You order at the cashier and en they brad by the food to you. I think the quality of food in the monorail QS is a notch better than others. You could take the blue flag boat to WL and Ft Wilderness and back, and possibly watch HEA from the 4th floor viewing deck.

For QS I would stick to POR or AoA. The deluxe quick serves are fairly limited. POR is also a beautiful place to walk around and enjoy. You could even boat to DS and walk around there a bit as well.

I vote the Poly. It is more of a fun destination and there are a few unique items on the menu, I think some kind of coconut meatballs last time we were there. We also like POR and POFQ food courts. Wilderness Lodge has a good new quick service as well and is a pretty place to visit.

Thank you for all these awesome options! I will see what my party is feeling that night, I have never seen poly or animal but port Orleans sounds fun!

You could head over to Disney Springs. There are several excellent options there - Wolfgang Puck, Earl of Sandwich or Cooks of Dublin.

Wolfgang puck express at the marketplace is the best quick service in wdw...

I get the desire to go to the different hotels, but the food tends so be of equal quality- more or less - in all the hotel cafeteria type places.
