Recommended departure times for Debarkation day?

Looking to buy flights ASAP. We are flying by in early to explore Vancouver but looking for any recommendations on what time we should look to fly out if we are leaving same day of debarkation on Sept.23rd.

I was thinking a 2pm flight, thoughts?

2pm sounds about right to me, but I live close enough that we drove the one time we sailed from Vancouver. Hopefully other folks have better insight!

• Latest arrival time to Vancouver International Airport on embarkation day: 1:00 PM
• Earliest departure time from Vancouver International Airport on debarkation day: 12:00 PM

For the Vancouver to Honolulu sailing on October 3, 2023, we recommend the following flight-time guidelines:

• Latest arrival time to Vancouver International Airport on embarkation day: 12:00 PM
• Earliest departure time from Honolulu International Airport on debarkation day: 11:45 AM

For Vancouver to Vancouver sailings in 2024, we recommend the following flight-time guidelines:

• Latest arrival time to Vancouver International Airport on embarkation day: 11:45 AM
• Earliest departure time from Vancouver International Airport on debarkation day: 1:00 PM

When arriving in Canada, you'll go through Canadian Customs; when departing Canada for the United States, you'll go through United States Customs. Please plan your travel time accordingly.

2pm is a great time to fly out. The train goes from near the Port right to the airport. I believe it took us a little less than an hour. We walked off the ship and picked up our luggage all before 10am and then hopped on the public transit to the airport. You'll have plenty of time.

We also spent a few days exploring Vancouver. Just a couple of days before our first cruise in 2018 and an entire week after our recent cruise last summer because we enjoyed it so much and wanted to see more.

I presume that you are booking flights at the 11 month mark when reservations come open. (And probably so you can use points.) Keep in mind that airlines WILL adjust schedules...and possibly more than once before next September. So be prepared that you might have to wrestle with your airline if they move it to the morning.
