We're leaving on Monday and have made all of our ADRs. We'll be on the dining plan, and will be eating at:

Le Cellier for dinner
Cinderella's Royal Table for lunch
Chef Mickey's for dinner
'Ohana for dinner
50's Primetime for lunch
Mama Melrose for dinner
Whispering Canyon Cafe for dinner
I've been looking over the menus for months, and have a few things in mind, but I'd love to hear your recommendations on appetizers, entrees and desserts. Any counter service meals or snack recommendations would be appreciated, too. I plan on waddling home! :goodvibes

Thanks! :mickeybar

let's see...
i had the filet mignon over mushroom risotto at lecellier and it was excellent... dh loved his surf 'n turf there as well :o)

Can't recommend anything, but just had to say that I share in your excitement. I am finishing up our ADRs tomorrow.

Will have to keep an eye on your thread ;)

Anybody else have anything to recommend? I'm particularly having trouble deciding on appetizers at Le Cellier, entrees and desserts at Mama Melrose (has anyone tried the Osso Bucco?), and appetizers, entrees and desserts at Whispering Canyon (I don't think I want the skillet); but I welcome suggestions on anything. Thanks for your help!

 Only 3 more days!!

The chocolate shake at 50s Prime Time is great. Also try the onion rings as an appetizer and I like the chicken Pot pie...good comfort food :goodvibes

i have been kicking myself for NOT trying the cheese soup at lecellier and plan to try it next trip!
dh had the osso bucco at mama melrose and said it was "okay" but i am not sure it was what he expected...

LeCellier appetizers that I love are the cheese soup and shrimp cocktail. I've had the surf and turf and mushroom filet and both were excellent.
I just had the Osso Bucco at Mama Melrose in August and it was delicious! My husband had the fra diavlo pasta and enjoyed it too.
At Whispering Canyon I had the skillet, meatloaf and pork chops (we stayed at the WL for 13 nights) all were good, for dessert I liked to apple caramel pie.
50's Prime Time I've had the fried chicken and pot roast, both were very good and the PBJ shake too, umm umm.
I disliked Chef Mickey's food but the character interaction was amazing. I'm just not a fan of their buffet choices, tough, dry meat but mashed potatoes were good.
Went to CRT for dinner at it was average at best but the atmosphere made up for it. Hope this helps you!

You picked many of the ones we're doing next time. What I can advise is at Le Cellier get lots of pretzel bread and the cream cheese mashed potatoes- heavenly! And at 50's Prime Time, if you like cheese, the best appetizer I had all week was their Fried Herb Cheese one. I had the pb&j shake also which I got in a "to go" cup so we could make the parade, but after seeing pictures, next time I'm getting the smores dessert- looks divine!
Have fun!

Definitely go for the cheese soup at Le Cellier

I also really liked the brick oven pizza at Mama Melroses, and I think I had tiramisu there that was pretty good.

Thanks for your suggestions! Anybody else? We'll be leaving in less than 2 days!
