We are planning a trip in June and we will have the Dining Plan. I will have two 12 year old girls with me. My daughter has requested Chef Mickey's again for breakfast. She does not want to eat at Cinderella's castle or 1900 Park Fare. My husband loves Liberty Tree Tavern, but I didn't really care for it.

How are Boma, Concourse Steakhouse, Planet Hollywood, Coral Reef, Le Cellier, Hollywood Brown Derby? What other restaurants are good? I also need recommendations for sit-down meals.

Also, we want to eat a nice meal our first night there. What would be a good place to go?

We LOVE Coral Reef and have always really enjoyed our meals at Brown Derby (the interior is lovely, but it's no match for the fish tank at Coral Reef). We very much enjoyed our dinner at Concourse Steakhouse. You might enjoy Teppanyaki -- it's on our new list of favorites and is a fun, entertaining, AND very good meal; 50s Prime Time is also a fun and tasty place to eat.

Where are you staying? That would make a difference for first night recommendations.

Now that Coral Reef is 1TS, I'd agree that Coral Reef is a good choice (I didn't believe it was worth 2TS so never went again... Until this next trip). The kids will enjoy the aquarium. BOMA is one of our favorites, as well as LeCellier ...... SO in my opinion, any of these will be a great choice.

We liked Boma for dinner, but we love it for breakfast - the mixture of common and ethnic selections makes the meal interesting for us. We also enjoyed breakfast at Concourse Steakhouse - the food and service were very good. Our last dinner there was in 1997, but we enjoyed it.

The only other place on your list that we've been to is Le Cellier - it was our favorite dinner of our last trip, and we're going back for dinner this year. We all enjoyed the pretzel bread, DH enjoyed the cheddar soup, and our steaks, all prepared to different doneness, were all quite good. We were too full for dessert!

Have fun!

We are staying at Pop Century. We are staying seven nights but I bought 8-day tickets so we can go to the parks on arrival day and departure day. I thought about doing Hoop Dee Doo on our first night, but I'm sure the girls are going to want to head to the parks as soon as we get there. My favorite thing to do is Soarin so I thought about doing that the first day and then eating somewhere at Epcot.
