Recommendations for transport from Port of Miami to FT.Lauderdale airport?

Hi all, We are on the Magic that will be porting in Miami on a Weds morning. Our flight is out of Ft. Lauderdale. We have early afternoon flights so I am not worried about stressing to get to the airport but we are a group of 8 adults so I was hoping to have a recommendation for a transport shuttle from that the Miami port to FLL. I'd like us all to stay together and not Uber individually. Any recommendations?

We just booked a 15 passenger van from Alamo for this same trip port of Miami to FLL. I'm not sure if we will use it though. Since making the reservation, I have read things about large passenger vans not being covered by credit card or personal insurance policies, and that they have a higher tip over rate than other vehicles.

Hmm.. Hadn’t thought about us renting a van. I’ll have to compare pricing to just a shuttle. May not be worth the hassle of picking up and drop off. Thanks for the idea.

I'm not sure if you mean to quote my post there but if so, SAS is a shared shuttle van with a driver. There was no picking up/dropping off. We had a party of 10 and the driver packed in some more guests too.
