We are booked at the Dolphin Aug 6-12 and
DH does not want to rent a car and drive.
We have been spoiled with Disney's ME service.
I see that Mousesavers recommends Happy Limo
while DIS recommends FL tours. Which one should I go with??? :confused3 TIA

We just used Happy Limo in April/May. We had a great experience, great service and a wonderful surprise. It was DS12 birthday trip so we rented a limo to pick us up and drop us off. They were at baggage claim when we arrived with a Happy Birthday sign. Gary grabbed our luggage and ushered us downstairs to the waiting limo. Movie and drinks in the back waiting for us. From AKL to MCO they upgraded us to a stretch Navigator. DS loved it. Both driver's were very professional and courteous. We would reccomend them. Mousesavers also has a coupon for a discount.

I am using Murray hill next week , I will let you know how it goes.

I spent a lot of time looking into this same question, and finally came to the conclusion that there was just not a lot of difference between most of the more popular companies. The ones that are the most common I have seen were FL Tours, Happy Limo and Tiffany Towncar. It seems like most people were happy with each of them, and there few, if any, real complaints.

We use Southern Elegance and have had excellent service. :thumbsup2

Southern Elegance is FANTASTIC! The cars are spotless and the owner, Miguel is wonderful to deal with.

We hired them in January for my DD's 10th birthday trip - we had a white stretch limo pick us up and take us to the resort and a towncar for the trip back to the airport.

Miguel was waiting at the bottom of the stairs with a sign with our name on it and there was a HUGE Minnie Mouse in the limo waiting to take a ride with us :) (Not to keep) - he stopped at the grocery store for us as well so that we could get a case of water.

I will definitely use Southern Elegance the next time we go!

This will be our fourth year in a row using Southern Elegance and I had my brother use him in May. He RAVED about the service and I was happy to hear it. I think Miguel is wonderful and Jackie is lovely too. :thumbsup2

i was happy with Tiffany last August.

Can anyone give me a ballpark range of price?

I know round trip limo rides (not towncar, but actual stretch limo) will run you about $240 total, including tip, fees, tolls, etc.

I believe towncar service is about 1/2 of that. I think the quoted prices are about $100 round trip, then you have to add in tips, and any fees that might be added on (usually pretty minor).

Does anyone have experience with limo or towncar service that will pick them up and take them to Davenport?

We would like to not drive ourselves to two communities to check out homes. We will be staying onsite at Disney most likely. So this would be an entire afternoon use of the service taking us to both places and then back to the resort. Probably no more than 90 minutes at each stop before returning to resort.

are the prices the same for going to Port Canaveral?
Nope, they are more expensive going to and from Sanford. It's about 30 mins from MCO to WDW, and closer to 50 or so to Sanford...so almost double the cost.

are the prices the same for going to Port Canaveral?

No, the cost is more to get to PC. It is about 45-60 mins or so from the airport/WDW one way. They do give you a discount if you book a round trip.

does anyone know the latest you can book before your trip?

You can usually book up until the last minute, but then it becomes a matter of having a car available. Usually 72 hours minimum notice you can find someone to accomodate you, but it may not be the company you originally wanted. The farther out you book, the more likely you will get the company you want and vehicle you want.

(we called the night before to have our pickup time moved up 1/2 hour and our company couldn't do it because of the number of pickups they were doing (and it was prom season). Our driver did show up about 10 mins early, but I am sure that was just a product of the logistics instead of our request).
